Meet a Member of the Faith Hall of Fame!

My wife and I lived in the Twin Cities 30 years ago when missionary Mary Stauffer and her daughter were kidnapped while home on furlough. It was a huge story then and because their abductor is due for parole this summer it is big news once again. Irv and Mary Stauffer were missionaries to the Philippines  with our fellowship of churches (BGC – now Converge). The Stauffer’s returned to the field after Mary and Beth escaped. Their story is one of great horror and faith. Not many of us would endure what Mary did and continue to serve Jesus and glorify God as Mary has. She’s my nominee for the Faith Hall of Fame. This article appeared in the Mpls Star-Tribune this past Sunday: A Woman Of Faith

The Mary Stauffer story is awesome. I forwarded the link to many. We have an OVERCOMING Savior! I enjoy your blog.
